The game changing NX Sketcher. The NX Sketch software tool, introduced in 2020, offers a new way for sketching in CAD. Users are now able to sketch without pre-defining parameters, design intent and relationships, according to the company. Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to infer relationships on the fly, users can move away from a paper hand sketch and create concept designs within NX software. Model Based Definition (MBD) Podcast ― Discussing the many benefits of MBD.  The drawing-based, drawing centric system for product definition and realization has been utilized for close to a century.  First, in the physical, paper form, and of course eventually in the digital form.  One of the challenges of drawing-based approach to document a 3D model is in the increased potential for human error through the translation of product definition between model-based and drawing-based formats.
