QForm is intended for simulation and optimization of cold, warm and hot die forging, open die forging, rolling, profile extrusion and other metal forming processes. A variety of additional special modules such as microstructure prediction, heat treatment simulation, user subroutines assignment and other can be implemented in program. New QForm is the latest development of our simulation software based on the solid background of the QForm platform and included absolutely new QForm Extrusion package. The software has the most user-friendly interface in the market, the fastest simulation time thanks to the most modern programming techniques and wide functionality. The very powerful and universal software core makes it possible to simulate any kind of metal forming processes. We have put all of our 25 years’ worth of experience in metal forming simulation into the development of the only software in the market that has a fully automatically and highly adaptive mesh generator. The most convenient interface in the market which helps to very easily solve problems of pre/post processing in one interface. Initial data preparation, results view and simulation are in one window. Having simulation, analysis and correction of simulation parameters and/or initial data for the simulation all in one window significantly increases working efficiency. Sheet-bulk metal forming means technological processes in which plastic deformation zone size is comparable to the sheet thickness. For example, processes such as forming operation, small-radius bending, and ironing of small-sized parts. These processes have a local deformation zone with a significant for simulation changing of the stress-strain state through sheet thickness. Such deformation zone should be simulated using solid finite elements because of using 3D-shell elements would result in a significant precision loss or make impossible to run the solver for performing the simulation. Conventional sheet metal forming of small parts we also refer to sheet-bulk metal forming. The simulation of large area parts in the QForm Software, such as body parts, is inefficient because of the too large number of finite elements and excessive computation time. However, there are no limitations on the size and complexity of axisymmetric parts due to high-parallelization of simulation process and special algorithms for solving of 2D problems implemented in the QForm Software.QForm Metal Forming Simulation Software
